Canson Baryta Photographique 310gsm is a true Baryta paper containing one of the highest levels of Barium Sulphate "BaSO4" (Baryta) found in inkjet paper today. Most competing Baryta papers contain little or no BaSO4. It is a pure alpha-cellulose, acid-free pure white paper with the same barium sulphate coating (16grams) used for traditional silver halide papers combined with a premium inkjet colour receiver layer. It's surface is a low gloss with a subtle texture and it performs beautiful with black and white images allowing superb detail right into the deepest blacks. However colour images also benefit from the qualities of the Baryta that the website Luminous Landscape dubbed the "King of Papers"
